I have a 41 stude m5. Unfortunatley my truck did not have the original front i-beam axle when i bought it, or any front axle for that matter.
I need to know the king pin to king pin width of the factory axle?
Also if anyone knows the ID of the king pin holes would be helpful.

I have had some trouble finding this spec. I believe the axle is the same on trucks 41-48. I was thinking of using a drop axle in the front from a ford f100 as I think the are fairly close in width but wanted to be sure. Thanks.

Go over to the Studebaker Truck Talk site http://www.network54.com/Forum/23885/ and post your question plus a WTB. You'll get the data plus several offers of an original axle and anything else you need.
