Just thought I'd post a few shots.

Hip Hip Hoo Ray for Studebakers.
    Thanks for sharing these.
In Early 70's I had possession of a '26 fordor.
    In mid'50s Dad had a '53.
An under statement is that I dug it
    Been through the museum.

Those early (30's) Stude's had the most beautiful instrument clusters.

Thanks for sharing. is there a fear that some of the vehicles will spontaneously combust?

Fire extinguishers are a requirement for most car shows these days.

Thanks for taking and posting these pics. Always great to see this many Studes in one place. :)

I think the early 50's Studes have one of the nices body profiles out there! Thanks for posting.

My theory on the extinguisher rule is because of the Avanti's fiberglass body. I imagine if one of those starts to go up everyone is in trouble.

Thanks for sharing the pictures. We were supposed to be there with a '60 Lark ragtop, but all that rain kept it in the garage since there is not currently a top on it.

Thanks, there are some real beauties there!
I also questioned why everyone had one out, but you know what? I've got one in my T every time I drive it, sitting in a plastic tub next to me. It's a subtle way to say we are responsible and to avoid the bystander effect. If there is a problem, there's the solution ready to go and available to everyone.
As a group, Stude people don't stereotype as hoodlums, so it doesn't surprise me. Maybe we could start to emulate this to bring up our own perceived status to outsiders. Na, let's huddle around open flames in trash cans!:D

The butterscotch (?) ‘24 touring by Bob Halgren was a real sleeper. Later Stude power and lots of drivability mods. IMG_1873.jpeg

  13. The burgundy and white two door wagon with five spokes caught my eye. I’ll bet that 4wd truck would put in a day’s work- simpler times.

Got a picture of the Brown Erskine seen through the window of the dictator to show? That's my neighbor who I blame for my Studebaker affliction.

Since I was a member for almost 25 years, it is a good bet I know several of the folks there and am familiar with some of the Studebakers on display.

Lots of car clubs require having a fire extinguisher on display at shows.

  20. Dang, how do they get the torque thrust wheels under the rear of a station wagon?? I have tried 15 X 6 under mine and they don't even come close to fitting under DSCN1829.JPG the outside fender lip. Picture from the day I brought it home.

I wonder what they are asking for the blue Daytona convertible. I'd like a hardtop but that would do.
