Hey guys, looks like I'm gonna be taking a trip out to California around January 5-15th with my grandmother. She's been on some trips with my brothers/sister and mom, but I was always swamped with school, and working to pay for it so always missed out. So we sat down, came up with a couple ideas, and she's never seen the west coast (and I kinda flew through Cali when I drove cross country). So no ski trip or whatever with friends "normal" 25 yr old does this break, going away with grandma. (HAHA one this is definitely gonna be more fun and two, I'm gonna have my hands full just trying to keep her outta trouble HAHA). Definately can't wait Plan for now's flying into LA staying for two days, taking the coast starlight train up the coast to Salinas/Monterrey area, renting a car, going to the aquarium and stuff, maybe a night in San Fran. Then out to Yosemite and Sequoia for 2 days each. Then flying home from Fresno. Was wondering if you guys have any suggestions for places to stop in LA, San Fran or Monterey area? Gonna try to get to Petersons Auto Museum, but gonna try to squeeze in some other cool car related spots. Maybe a shop, somebody with just a cool personal collection, cool place to eat, whatever. Thanks in advance.
