Your Pontiac story is why I don't take others (even my wife's) suggestions on my cars. Opinions are like the weather, they change frequently and the upcoming ones are hard to predict.
I don't think you give yourself enough credit. Those two are sweet!

I really regret selling my 55 chevy pick up for $800 it could have been parked at my dads I didn't need to sell it. my 61 Impala, my 37 dodge pu project , every Camero, chevelle, Nova, El Camino, square body pu and motorcycle I had . Im sad I sold the 50 chevy 2 door deluxe and my tear drop trailer but bills had to be paid

Kept the 57 Vette and almost gave up my house to do so in 2004.
I was a month from loosing it all .

In 15 years ill regret selling my 91 shortbed I have now if I'm still alive.

  7. Everyone has their reason for keeping or selling but in my simple world, the only reason to have kept something is because with time, it became way more valuable. :) Most everything I have had was better than what before it. I look forward to maybe finding the right one for me. :)

My days of high end - high gloss paint, spotless engines, detailed under carriages and trophy shows are in the past.
Knees, hips and shoulders are tough to get underneath to work on.
Maybe a 2 or 4 post lift in my new shop will re-generate the blood octane.
Primer / Faded paint, some crusties here and there is fine and I just enjoy friends, a bite to eat, beverage and a drive on the back roads.
I like survivor stuff, old and surprisingly how much people congregate to the old faded stuff.
I shouldn't have sold a lot of stuff, but I did and something else came along to enjoy life.
I enjoy seeing friends past, present and in the future.
Cool is cool in old stuff, all in it's own way......

  9. Sometimes, the worse part about selling stuff is not knowing what happened to it or where it ended up.

After church, one of the guys there mentioned that a friend of his was interested in buying my coupe and immediately I thought that would free up some money to do up the Austin but then I remembered regretting selling the last car.

  13. Sold this and bought a ‘63 T bird because I thought I needed a roof and more room. Turns out I didn’t… FBEDF348-147C-4111-9BF2-E76A537B9FDA.jpeg
