Spotted this touring car in the way to my fishing spot. Can't figure out what make it is though. I'd like to get closer but all the no tresp***ing signs on the fence and the well shot targets by the house lead me to think that's a bad idea.
Anyhoo... What make is it? 20180126_115250.jpg 20180126_115302.jpg

Sure looks like it has a "T" Ford front axle.

I know that there were some bodies for the Model T... perhaps one of the early "Want a T but with style" rigs?

Looks like a Model A hood on it which is obscuring some of the cowl, throwing it off a bit. Axles and wheels sure do look like T though, so does the demolished grille shell.

Itsa Bitza. The front axle/wheels, the front fenders, and a portion of the grille are Ford. But not the rest.

its a hodge podge, its sitting on what looks like boards and cinderblocks to get it to be up that high and everything else is piled on to make it look like a car. T axles, a hood, dodge or buick cowl. Cool yard art.

Certainly a bunch of something, I know the rad shell is ford (can still see the stamping) axle too. Rear axle is some sort of a log. The cowl with its odd windshield really throws me off, ive googled many brands, and not seen that windshield

It is a Heinz Model 57 touring, or Mon'Grel MUV (mixed up vehicle) or maybe a Lidledis Somidat.

  19. the cowl and WS frame and tub resemble a Chevy 490
the hood looks like it doesnt belong

Pretty close to the Buick cowl that I have for my roadster project. Buick Cowl.jpg

I'd agree on the ***embled for yard art aspect as the frame under the body looks more like s**** fir than s**** steel.

  25. It's a '22 & 1/2 Canardly.
Canardly get it to start in the morning.
Canardly get it to stop at the highway at the bottom of the hill.
Canardly get to town on Saturday night.
Canardly get it to shut off when you get back home.

That "frame" looks like an old piece of 2x4 wood to me and that T axle looks like it's just placed there unsprung.

I'd say that it's someone's Yard Art that they probably put together with junk they found lying around their property or cast offs from builds (AKA, a Solid New England Project Car ;)).

The hood looks like it came from a Chevy. Notice the double ribbing on the side above the louvers.

For sure its a POS (pile of stuff) It is 2x4s for frame and the rear axle is a log. Still wondering what make the cowl is, just never seen that windshield mount before. Maybe someday the owner will be around when I go by
