I lost my brake lights and can not find the source of the problem. I have checked the fuse, the bulbs and can't seem to find the source of the issue. I bet there is a short. Any help would be great. i hate electrical.

Figure out where the switch is,and see if you have power there.

I assume you have checked for blown fuses.

If there's a short, the fuse will be burned. Check the switch as suggested.

All it takes is for one wire to break.....and the circuit will be open, and that will not burn the fuse. So look at the wires any where there is a curve or near a piece of metal that could cut it...like holes in the firewall, or floorboard where the wires go through.

I've had my tail lights not work because the plastic turn signal switch inside the steering column split loosing connection.

Get yourself a multimeter and a wireing diagram. I make photocopies of my wireing diagrams so i can mark all over them. I guess I'd start to see if there is power at the break light switch and work back from there.

it's been raining a lot around here, you might wanna clean the fuse holders with a wire brush.

  11. Doin good, caravan sounds good to me! P.s. i've got the same problem on my plymouth, the switch went bad and is draining the battery and doesn't activate the lights, so now i gotta find one for a fiddy five plymouth before i get rear ended!!
