Stuttering when accelerating

    thats some good info there. I will try that. I did know the modules were that expensive...hell you almost want to spend another 100 or so and get a whole new distributor. I did read a article close to this but this helps. I dont have the in line box (if thats the box that is usally attached to the firewall?) then no i dont have it. Mine is running straight to coil to distributor. You know Ive been dealing with some battery issues so maybe I did "spike" the module and kill it. Just seems that if it was a module it would just quit and thats it. Why whould it somewhat stutter one day and then stop and then the next day really go to crap.

    So can a module go bad and still start? Seems itwouldnt be able to sen the voltage to the spark plugs to start and run if the module is bad. Course now nothing works so maybe.
     
  2. Lot's of friends with Unilites that crapped out at inopportune times. That's why I still run my old Mallory dual point. Use one set of points to trigger my MSD box. All good for over 10 years.
