1952-59 Ford sub framing

    Has anyone sub framed a 53 Merc/ What did you use??

    my 53 ford is subframed with a fatmans kit. mII front suspension. im not a fan of it without power steering as it is a bear to turn. might have something also to do with the 14 in grant steering wheel. maybe if the diameter of the wheel was larger, i wouldnt grouse so much when in a tight spot turning.

    fatman sells a frame stub but it aint cheap. ive seen a gm clip done on them. is there a reason your wanting to clip it?

    if i could have found what i have now with a near stock/upgraded front suspension, i think i would be happier. but i gots what i gots and am looking to improve it.
