Technical SUCH A WASTE of good pine needles

Discussion in 'Traditional Hot Rods' started by sloppy jalopies, Oct 13, 2017.

  1. 3 pines, 1 cedar, 2 firs and a cherry tree. "0" model A's. :(We did find a yellow Tonka dump truck though!:)

I planted 25 Norway Spruce trees in my yard this spring. I'm a bird guy...birds love pine trees.

My dad's old 63 Lincoln collected a fair amount of pine needles before somebody came and saved it. My old 29 only collected oak leaves in my back yard.

IMG_0536.JPG Been slowly clearing several Monterey pines along my property line that have been dying from tip moth invasion. Found a 41 Packard Coupe and 51 Mercury Sedan. The lower branches had weeped down, just about completely covering the cars.

    Parted out the '29 Murray,
recon I'll plant the s**** cowl under a Pine tree and wait to see what grows? DSCN1718.JPG
Note the dodge truck hood under the cowl, the sled makes Ford parts a lot easier to move for us seniors . and they catch the crud / s****s. DSCN1715.JPG

  12. Any of you old timers remember going to indoor car shows (and other type shows) and there was always this guy selling pine incense..... "Balsam Pine, Smells So Fine".....? Well, that incense was probably made out of ground and pressed pine needles, I'm thinkin'..
