Suggested rim size

Anyone know if a 315/70/15 will work on an 8" wheel?

It'll go on there, but probably wear out prematurely. It would be better on a 10"

 

315/25.4=12.4 inches wide tread. Seems a little too much for an 8-inch wheel . Check the tire mfrs site as many publish a table with the recommended wheel width for their tires.
