Dude - beautiful job. You are an engineer/artist/fabricator/designer all in one.

    thanks guys
no updates.... i took it apart and stashed the pieces all over the basement
i got a few other projects that took presidence and i only have one work bay
should get back to it eventually here this winter and hopefully have it done in the spring to sell
headlights will just be mounted on the outside...an afterthought like they should be on a lakes car i guess
i think incorperating them makes it too "street minded" and its got to stay mainly as a lakes racecar to fit the image in my head

as for the game...seems retro54 was playing too??? :p
i'm not denying it, its pretty fun

  4. btt :D

    update?

I'll just come and get it if you don't want to fuss with it any longer... :)

Its more of a treasure hunt then anything....

been dissassembled for a while now... and a few more projects piled into the basement since then....

just finding everything could take some time

its funny how a project you don't intend to keep, in the end... gets pushed to the back burner real fast.....

Theres a chance I might be going into debt to buy a garage/house soon... so might just have to get back on this, finish and then sell to help pay a mortgage down some... we'll see

As for the price now.... I'm open to offers (plus ice cream) :)

  10. will you take a kidney and a wife? J/K. Seriously though I love this car and hope you finish it! I would love to see some pics of it out on the salts

The following conversation took place. It is unedited and the participants are still dumbfounded.

Wife: "What are you looking at?"
    Husband: "This kick-ass roadster"
Wife: "Didnt you show that to me before?"
Husband: "Yep. I really like the styling and details. Simple and timeless style"
Wife: "Why dont you do something like that? I mean, you spend enough time in the garage.. You should be able to do that, right?"
Husband: "Uh. Um. Er.. Why dont you cook like the people on TV?"
~ The conversation abruptly ended.. ~

Kidding aside, it is coming along great. Looks great!

I know it's been seven months, and it's been longer since SUHRsc updated on that roadster, but I just found it. The following made me laugh harder than I have in a while.

And the roadster is just awesome. Very cool, and rather inspiring. If you dig it out let us know, and if you already have and it's in another thread, let us know.

    I haven't touched it....
This year I bought a house, with a big garage... I've been working on fixing the place up, so not too much automotive work has been done at all...

    thanks

Long time no news. Are you still at it, or did it go away?

  26. Look for his update #5 thread. Apparently he sold it to one of those North Carolina guys.
