Im setting up the front end of the Green Bean and have a question. Where did you guys mount your shocks? I have the lower perch style mounts and upper side mount brackets...Can I see some pictures? or some ideas

  2. Here's the 31; SuperBell lower shock mount, SoCal stainless upper shock mount.
The upper mount a copy of the popular bent F1 shock mount.

  3. Here's another view of the 31's mounts.

  4. The 32 shock mounts.
About the only pic I could find of it.
The lower mount is a Deuce Factory stainless.
Note that it's longer than the SuperBell lower mount.

The upper mount is a Deuce Factory folded three sided piece that may be easy to duplicate as a welded three sided piece.
The DF upper mount is reasonable enough in cost and so nicely made - headlight bushing etc. - that you may want to spring for it.

  6. Here's an upper mount on a friends under construction T-Bucket - all steel fwiw.

It's an F1 mount bent a little different due to space considerations.

Here's the T-Buckets lower shock mounts.
A couple of thick tabs, nicely rounded on the edges and welded to the split wishbone.

Im Liking that last idea!. hell you could drill the wishbone as well.

    thanks again.

  9. Here's one of the best pieces on the car far as I'm concerned.
A rear shock mount made from - I think - an F1 rear shock mount, bent and ground round.
It's good looking and if you found the right shock lengthwise - and they are out there - it would make a very nice and unobtrusive front shock upper mount.

Did axle have the logo in the center? These giagundous L-78/15s will have that cartoony look I want for the Supersecretmobile. Look great with the Lincoln caps with bullets too.

    Nads,
You sound great coming out of a 52 year Seeburg speaker. [IMG]
