What are suicide front ends that I have read about. How is it done? What is the pros/cons of doing the front like that. Can it be done to numerous types of vehicles or is it exclussive to a select group of years.
Suicide front ends are mounted in front of the Frame. Named suicide because if they come loose, the front of the car will dive straight down to the Road.

Done wrong can be a very nasty wrong experience (voice of experience). Upside is longer wheelbase (more stability, better ride?), and better weight transfer (engine behind the axle center). And it looks really bitchen I like 'em. Done write is a good thing. Build the spring mount sturdy, my best luck has been with 3" channel and 1/4" gussets. Probably over kill after the first screw up. I don't have any pics, but someone here probably does. On my next one I'm using a Mark Williams digger front end.
I'm glad you guys cleared that up for me, I always thought that 'suicide' was when you weren't running front brakes! Flatheads forever!!
