My son just informed me he’s coming down from Minnesota July 4th weekend to go to the Goodguy’s Des Moines Heartland Nationals show at the Iowa State Fairgrounds and asked if he could take my 1960 4WD Dodge D100. Absolutely….. looking forward to Father and Son time.
Gonna fly out for Trog in Oct, planning to drive the F100 down to Bonneville this year, which will be my first time ever and I’m super psyched about that. Other than that, a local Oregon thing called Graffiti weekend, which will also be a first.
My main plan for summer 2026 is to retire July 2nd. After that i need to figure out what to do with my old cars and who to do it with.
Hopefully (as one of the Lloydfest originals)you are going to join us this year at Lloydfest IV!!! For us (other than Lloydfest IV) I feel like we will be going to a BUNCH of cruises & shows in our area. Laura will not let me rest once the weather gets nice, so she can drive her Christmas present We are blessed in this area to have large cruises most nights of the week, many in the 3-400 cars per night range. So we will be at Grace Church on Thursday night, Laurel Square on Saturday night & weekends shows as well! I hope to make Lloydfest! Unfortunately my wife has no interest in my old car hobby and most of my car buddies have drifted away. But i’ll find a way to use those cars.
Lloydfest will have to be another year. going to ac/dc concert on the 8th and Dragweek on the the 13th thru 17th. Sorry Lloyd.
Lloyd fest has been on my list for a few years now. Trying to match up time with dad on his summer days off, like to find a show out west to attend and finish our last bit of Route 66 (Arizona and California). Mom’s been wanting to get out, she’s always wanted to do Yellowstone national park. A trip with her out there would be nice. And if there is any car shows out there at that time would be a bonus for me.
I have registered for the frog follies and NSRA NATS .want to go to the midwest roadster roundup, meltdown drags and Loyd fest cruisen the heartland possibly an all FE drag event in Muncie IN and the relex riot. definitely the Watermelon run Edwardsville IN June 14 and several swap meets. hopefully a lot of other stuff
