Bought 8 tachs.... how can you go wrong at these prices?

I can't really tell, do those tachs come with a cup and mount for the column? That would be worth the price itself.

The tach housing is black plastic and it comes with the basic column bracket.

 

I'm going to guess the $8 and $5 tachs are panel mounts, no cup. But still cheap....

That came from the Summit site. When you click on the link that buickfunnycar posted you will see the link to the "instructions" at the bottom of the tach listing. That is where I got the images above from. It states that you will have to provide the hose clamp.

 

If I had the spare $, I'd buy as much as they had, you could sell those tachs for 15-20 bucks all day long at a SwapMeet, all the other stuff too....the 3 dollar gauges would fly off the table at 10 bucks a pop

With a 1000 dollar investment, I could easy see near tripling your money in one or two meets.

Well, I have to go pour water on my modem, or else I'll be eating Mac and Cheese for a month

 

Well isn't that just great....now I will have more boxes of stuff sitting around waiting to be used. They must have sold out of some of them already because they said they could not ship some of the gauges to me at my address? Never heard of that before.

 

must be outta stock....could use a 5 & 8 dollar tach's...

 

I used Sun-Pro gauges on my engine test stand because they were cheap. They all worked well. I just ordered $101 worth of them to get the free shipping. I got 6 of the big tachs and 2 of the little ones, so I guess they were available. I agree with "56Don"; more boxes of stuff I don't really need.

I saw Buickfunnycar.com's earlier post and immediately went to Summit's website and
ordered $126.00 worth of stuff that I'll surely use......probably.........sometime........maybe it will be awhile.....but, Hey!....it was bargain!

Well I guess everyone knows what gauges you will see in one of my OT rigs now. It looks like guys are putting a run on them as the triple ****og set was sold out along with the ****og gas gauges.

I feel like a cheapskate as I only spent 48.00 for 7 gauges and a box of grommets.

 

I was tempted, but truth is, I've got a brand new Sun tach in the cabinet I bought some 20 or more years ago.
That IS a helluva deal though...

 

Bought enough to keep me busy.
