order another one online, and send the defective one back using the form on the back of the invoice, and the mail label. Probably a lot less hassle than trying to talk to someone. Of course, the replacement might have the same issue, in which case you'll have to find another brand to order, or find another place to get one that will send you a picture of the actual item (ie ebay) good luck! I got some stuff from them day before yesterday, that I ordered online sunday.
Sometimes they answer the phone within a minute and sometimes it's longer most the phone calls are remote not at Summit facility directly , not back to normal

It’s like everywhere else, They can’t find any help or they don’t want to pay them. Instead they have this automated chat and you get nowhere! I’m having a similar problem with a different vendor. Want to charge me $35 to ship a 5 inch pulley. Ordered it Wednesday thanking surely for $35 it would be expedited. They called today and haven’t even shipped it out yet! What the hell?

Squirrel has it right. Free returns and free shipping on 100 buck orders. Print out the return label and drop it off. Order a new one online. Done deal.
I just thought I would document my plight in real time. I found out you just don't call suppliers anymore and tell them your order is messed up. That's not the way it works. Your all looking at me and saying.......what a hick. Yeah I guess I am. But when they put up a phone number you just think naturally, hey, I'll just call them. No, sorry you can't. When I wised up it was too late. I may be too old for this site also. Ain't that a hoot.
