Technical Sun Tach Transmitter question

I know that in order to run a 6v positive ground tachometer, I need the Sun transmitter. Since my application will be for a 6 cylinder, 6 volt, positive ground system, will I need the EB-2 or EB-2A? What is the difference between these? Or is there something else? Thank you HAMB gurus
