Sun Tach Wiring.

    Could do with some help with a 70`s style Sun Tach that I cant get to work. all the 4 wires
    coming out of the back are the same colour, black.:confused:
    they hook up to 4 spade conectors inside, B,G,T, & L. I think they go in this
    order.
    B- to ignition 12v.
    G- to ground.
    T- to neg " _ " side of coil.
    L- to instument light feed.

    I changed the distributor guts to Pertronics and my old super tach doesn't seem to be compatable with the breakerless setup. Might just be my tach? new one from Moon works fine.

    I'm getting ready to hook up my old Stewart Warner tach and have a Pertronics setup-one way to find if it'll work together?

    I think you have the wiring right. I'm running mine on a Mallory unilite electronic dizzy and it works just fine.

    I think you need a filter when switching tachs from point type ignition to electronic...I would call Rich Fox at Affordable Street Rods...He should have what you need.
