    Ok, I hope we're not beating a dead horse yet. Just to make things interesting, heres another question. My 47 is now 12 volts, but it's got a resistor to the ignition. Do I want a 6 volt box? I don't think so, but why not?

    Any more info on the do it yourself electronics conversion anyone? Didn't have a chance to try mine with AA batteries today, but I'll post results when I do in a few days.

    Took some old AA batteries that measured 1.23v and tried both transmitters. Unfortunately the 4 cylinder one seemed to read too high. Pop's 8 cyl. seemed to work accurately. I don't want to put it in yet though, I don't know if those batteries are ok to use for a length of time. Any more info on a way to make the 4 cyl. box to work, or convert it to electric?
