I just picked up an old sun 915 tester. This was meant to replace my sun 1115 machine, which lost its raster.. naturally, this one won’t raster either. Has anyone found a source to get these units repaired? This one should be easy, as it’s 1974 Stone Age technology, no IC chips in this one.. all conventional components. Only two wire hook up and one to the battery. I can’t find any info on this one, but I did find a horrible set of schematics for the 1115..(copied a hundred times.. and almost useless). Any tips or a repair place pointer would be highly appreciated. Thanks!

Is the 915 also called the TUT? We had one at the Dodge dealership. I really liked that machine.

There is a guy here in Oregon that does repairs, but he is very slow on something like this. About 10 years ago I took a really old Sun Scope to him for repairs. He didn't think it was worth repairing but he had a TUT in the ba*****t that just needed minor repairs and was for sale. I fooled around with him for a few months and he didn't get around to repairing the TUT. I bought somewhat newer Snap On scope off Craig's List.

    I also just bought a TUT 915
It lights up when I switch it on. Beyond that I am clueless.
