This isn't a full blown "adventure thread". I just wanted somewhere to put the pics of the trade I did on Sunday for my old '57 GMC LCF for a '47 Chevy 3100. Saturday I went to my local farmer's market where I sell Farm Fresh Free Range Eggs. Mostly we stand around and BS about old cars. They had a D-Day anniversary at the Eisenhower Center on Saturday with a parade and some vintage WWII equipment. After that I went home and threw a wagon load of hay bales up into the hayloft, after having put up 300 or so Friday night. Then I winched and coerced the '57 GMC onto my car trailer. That took 4 hours. Sunday morning was ready to roll out at 7am. Took a nice drive down to visit HAMBer luckylady28 for the trade. Stopped at the Padilla Cross and snapped a pic. We got the GMC off and the chevy loaded in less than an hour! Thanks Ken, It was great meeting you. I look forward to getting some more stuff from you. Then on my way home I stopped over (Invited myself over for lunch- thanks!!!) at Kerry's house to check up on his digger project and enjoy an ice cold bottle of orange Crush from his soda machine. I didn't take any pics though. Got home around 4pm and didn't take but a few minutes before one of the hens wanted to go for a ride in the new pickup. Took my time and got the truck unloaded. I have always wanted an AD truck since I was a little kid. Now that I am a big kid, I think I will try to fix this one up a bit. Thanks for listenin'.
First thing is to get a front axle under it so I can roll it around. I would like to put a chevy 6 in there.
Jay, I have a 235 six, out of my 56 chev, that's apart, all pieces are there, that's in my way, if you pick it up, you can have it. Howard
Cool. I like pie. you say that like it's a bad thing! Nope. These eggs will keep for several weeks in the 'fridge. Sold!!!
that is a very cool weekend and a very cool trade. Now it looks like I have to drive my s-10 down some weekend and we can do a little ch***is swap! that truck needs "Sweet Racing Enterprises" on the doors. Jeff

Farm fresh eggs have magical powers on people. I get all kinds of goodies from them. I once traded a retarded rooster for a '30 A grill shell!
PM sent. I might be taking my girls down to the Star Drive-In Saturday night in Wichita. HAHA. You are a tradin' foo...
