The winter Turlock swap- which I've never been to, but have wanted to attend- is always the same weekend as the GNRS. For years I've been driving down from Santa Cruz and doing Friday and part of Saturday at the GNRS, but was thinking maybe of going to Turlock Saturday, and catching the GNRS on Sunday this year. Question is: Is Sunday still good at the GNRS? Most Saturday/Sunday shows I've been to the Sunday is pretty lacking. How is GNRS on Sunday?
The indoor part is identical, and some people get off on watching the awards and the startup/driveout tradition. The "drive-in" -- the outdoor part of the show -- typically falls off a lot.
Like stated above, I was there this year on Sunday. The inside cars and displays stayed put. The outside was good, but I'm sure not as crowded as Friday and Saturday. Talking with friends that were with me on Sunday, the crowd was WAY MORE manageable on Sunday and you could see a lot more in comfort on Sunday. VR&C.
