  4. Zed,
I dunno about being your biggest fan but with the work you do, you deserve all the good things said about you. I have said it before and I will say it again, there are a fair few that can chop up and modify a model. The difference is you have the eye for balance and style that VERY few people in this world have.
When I grow up, I want to build like you do!!

    Doc.

    Amen!

CHOPMERC, Very nice also! I like the paint detail in the grille, and the DeSoto rear bumper. Sectioning the hood must have been fun!

Zed - Your paint work is amazing.

  7. Not to get to warm and gooey but it's amazing what a universal language Hot rodding and model cars seems to be. It's pretty cool.
I'm glad to have been a part of modeling for almost 50 years and real cars and hot rods for around 45 years.

captivating, beautiful build and sweet colors.
I have built a lot of kits in my time, and very few if any come close to that,
not to hijack your thread, but for me, it is not so much about the finished products as much as it is the start to finish of the build, testing things in plastic is far cheaper then making a big whoops on real metal. and it is more fun then drawing a plan/goal to reach.
i got bored with most of the new modern day kits and have a hard time finding good older kits, so i started messing around with my hot wheels collection and found that i can do just as much with them on a much smaller scale, and kit bashing is an endless gold mine. and only $1.00 each,
of the many i customized, this one is by far my all time fav.

if you really wanna see more of my putzin, i would be willing to share, my quality is not good, but my creativity is almost unsurp***ed.
