    OK Lyle, I have been threatening to get back to modeling ... and you did it !!! I have decided to build a model of a truck that I almost bought years ago. Now, can anyone help me find a model of a '58 Chrysler 300D, and the Hemi has to have the stock air cleaners (I guess a '57 would work as well ???).

    Expect alot of questions everyone !!!! :p

    Thanks, ScottV

    Speaking of Replicas & Miniatures, here are some Appleton spotlights, patterns by Rik Hoving. I cut the light dome away from the stem so that I could angle them more realistically. [IMG]

    I'm really digging the way they came out.

    Next MAMA meeting is actually this coming Saturday, April 23.

    PAY ATTENTION HERE: Our meetings are always the THIRD Saturday of the month EXCEPT April, because of NNL EAST. :D

    For TRADITIONAL rod and kustom models (nothing newer than 1969), go to this forum. This is my main stop every day. Believe it or not, there are over 1000 members on the TRaK forum and there is no politics, argueing or bullshit,,,just great, very cool models.

    Trying to finish up something a bit different. While it might be an off-topic build I think it will still fit in the model threads.....hopefully next Sunday......

    ^^ another vote here for TRaK. Pretty cool place to hang out.

    You can also check out http://drasticplastics.proboards.com/ It is a model board for everything. Also a cool place to hang out.

  12. A/G rebuild scenario

    426 hemi

    Kit started as AMT '55 post. Used old Mono '56 for konversion. Progressed from small block streeter thru to this.
    Time to redo front & rear ends. Same wheel/ tire combo.

    Oh yeah!, BUY Don Graham's KUSTOM & HOT ROD MODELS magazine. My art in issue #7;

    Thanx for the NNL East pics (picks) Lyle. Cool stuff! I also dig the almost b&w pics of the '50 Ford p/u. Neat!

    Yeah, TRaK is where it's at for hot rods & customs for sure. Some of the best builders from around the world. Definitely worth frequent visits. Probably my fave model forum.

    Here's a build I just finished last night. It's RHD because it's a tribute to an Aussie resin model parts supplier (ThePartsBox.com).
