I have this on the bench:

AMT 1/25th scale 49 Merc

 

This isnt near as nice as all of the others,but I'll show it anyway.
One of our crew guys built this in '63 from a pile of parts of my dads racer.
The floorboard appears to be some sort of old Army dogtags.I'd like to "restore" it someday.

I love this car! Have you ever considered doing it resin?What did you make the roof from?Are you going to put a "how to"on your site?

 

The carson top is made out of the roof of a merc as i can remember ..and , yes, i also think every thing from steve need to be offered in resin !
