At the KKIM show in Davenport they had a Rat Fink Tribute. The Yellow Rail was picked by Wizzard and awarded a Rat Fink print. It was built by Rod Kness (dragster man and artist he he :) ). Here are some pics from that table.

Those rear wheels/tires are from the cartooney version of Revell's/Roth's Outlaw, featuring a monsterous "Robbin' Hood Fink". It came with stretched out wide-white slicks in the rear, and some eliptical spokes up front. Probably one of the few people who's actually used those tires for anything but scrap plastic!

Hey everbody! I've been on the HAMB board for quite a while---but never posted anything on the Sunday Model thread. So I took a few pics of my model crap---one of my bench---had a leak in the garage and had to pile up stuff on it--I'll clean it soon---ansome pics of some finished models and one of my fresh kits---but not including my resin bodies, maybe 25 of em.

Heres one i started a while ago, still not done like everything else. Its one of those revell '32 3-windows with a hemi out of a cuda that had seen better days and a blower off a heavy chevy chevelle. Slicks are off the same car too but just took some white paint for the whitewalls.

    Sorry bout the crappy pics.

After finishing the Willys and the blue '32, I started messing with a couple more. A "Death's Doorstop" inspired pickup, and a "Snot Rocket" like sport coupe.

    Hey Fig, great work!

I was looking at the pic on your site and damn, how many 30 Ford coupe kits do you have? I don't even have one!! I wish they would recast that one...

    Thanks!

I've seen a couple very light hints that the kit is in the works.....Model King release perhaps.

I've only got 3...the "rat rod", the in progress drag car, and the above. I took this one and cut it up for the "snot rocket"

I dig the starliner thing you got going on. Damn Kool.

I got a "57 t bird behind a truck cab" project going on similar to the Space Truck.

Stick Shift, Thanks for posting thos pics! They look great!

Omega, That Starliner looks great! Are you going to fill between the fins or resess it?

I think im going to recess it, seeing thats a starliner trademark, along with the fins, its still in the mockup stage so anything goes right now, i might use the front fenders to, only il fill in the wheel openings, to see how it looks.

I figure I would share this also. Several years back our church held its annual Pinewood Derby race. A buddy and I got into that "My-car-is-better-than-your-car" debate.

First year it whomped all over his, second year didn't do so good. But we had a blast. I was the only one at the race with a hot rod :D

they had to create an Open Class because it broke every pinewood derby rule there was. It took two kits and some extra wood for the top.

More Pinewood cars... These are the cars me and my son built for last year's Cub Scout pinewood race... His is the 27 Roadster modified, mine is the Hot Rod VW... The VW won the Parents race as well as the Cub Scout exibition race held a few weeks ago... My son's 27 won best paint... That was the first time he has ever handled an airbrush...

My next build was going to be either the 32 in a roadster style or a 1940 ford pickup, but they stopped doing the races last year.

Maybe ill get around to building them for the fun of it

    dangeroustoy: excellent work there...
