Here's a few older builds. Time and kids have taken their toll on a couple. Missing bumpers, windows, parts, dusty paint....
One is obviously O/T until you see who signed it after it won the 'Big Daddy Roth Pick' at a show....

Here are some photos of my "BUBBLE collection". It seems most custom show car builders in the 60's were all doing bubble top cars at some point. Most were done by Starbird or Roth with everyone from Barris to Winfield trying a version or two. A lot got turned out as scale models by the model companys. Here are some of them. YES!! even Homer Simpson designed a "Bubble car" complete with a separate "mother-inlaw bubble". How cool! Mel:D

Yeah, the convert is one of the victims. Missing both bumpers, the windshield and a trim ring. It's still one of my favorites, though.
The Simpson's rule!! I think my next tattoo is gonna be a Simpson's-themed atrocity.

Here's the latest update on the Hollish car. I found a seller on Ebay that make the correct four hole wheels for this car and grab them as soon as I saw them.

    On to the pics.

Scratch built shocks made from brass tube and rod....

Here is one that has been sitting on the bench for years that I finished this weekend. First digger I ever built. Nothing special just an old kit. lol:)

I thought I was going to be the first to post this sunday, early, but there was no way I could start the thread. Is that an administration only thing? Just curious! Anyway, it's still sunday, thought I would post a few Late Model Stock Car builds, this time and a WIP!

  21. this is AWESOME! what are your front w's and t's from? handmade???

  22. TXRAT,
When we were running top fuel in the late '60's early '70's we would occassionaly run into some of the lower class diggers (read garage built cars)
that had some camber issues. Don't know if it was a result of wheelies or done on purpose for some reason. BTW, this is going to be a remarkable model!!
