On the bench... Resin pedal car I got at a show in Roanoke Virginia. After looking at a few custom pedals cars on Google images... this is the result.
got a couple more done this past few weeks .Maybe not HAMB friendly but it is a '32,Revell kit painted Testors 1 coat Purplicious ,Pegasus wheels and tires. And next one that almost found the bottom of my shoe a few times.AMT '56 Ford Victoria done up for drag racing.Color is Testors 1 coat Inca Gold base followed by Tamiya Clear Red,Modelhaus American mags, parts box tires. This kit just tried me in every which way, poor fitment, glued the doors shut, noticed after I applied the decals that I should have given the doors another coat of red clear, the color is off compared to the rest of the body...oh well ! too late, live and learn.Used Slixx gasser decals for the callouts. Thanks for looking and any comments you wish to share....Happy Modeling !
Started around 4 models this winter but too many projects in the garage so they have not been finished.
Not quite finished with this one yet. Still need to finish up the engine and a little detail painting on the underside.
catching up here, some cool models and die-cast's guy's let's keep 'em comin' Finished up these 2 in the last couple weeks.First up is an AMT American Graffiti Milner's '32 coupe done in my own version since I already have a die-cast version that is autographed and kept in a display case.Color is Tropical Turquoise and Classic White, wheels and tires are Modelhaus and Gopher decals. that taillight is straight not sure why it looks crooked. Next up is a Johan Challenger funny car that was given to me by the owner of the local hobby shop that closed up a few years ago.It was given to me with the promise I would build it and not sell it as it's a pretty rare kit.I tried doing the Don Beebe version and went thru 2 sets of Slixx decals, one set I bought off e-bay fell apart after removing them from the water...never ever buy decals from e-bay ! Second set I bought from Slixx and after shooting some clear over the body the film from the decals did not wipe off good enough which left a haze under the clear so I stripped it again and just added decals from the decal stash.Color is Mystic Emerald on the body and Lime Ice on the frame, used Mica Silver for the sheet metal.Kept my promise and am satisfied with how it turned out. Thanks for any and all comments you wish to share and Happy Modeling !
Keep up the Great work guys someday I'll finish something I've got way too many projects going on !!! lol
