Just finished this '59 Elky. This is another one I started 15 years ago, tore back down and finally finished.
I don't think so John. He's a 1:12 bust resin casting I bought on eBay. He came with an antique rifle strapped to his back, and a very long pipe. I just removed the rifle, and shortened the pipe to bring him up to date, so to speak. Here's the eBay link: https://www.ebay.com/itm/174227619581?hash=item2890c67efd:g:nY4AAOSw1tVed27J He's now known as Captain Finch. Word is, he's a distance relative to Captain Jack Sparrow.
In other modeling news... I did mange to get the steering wheel (now a steering yoke) put together, after all. Keeping with the Army (Air Corps.) surplus theme, I decided to go with a surplus WWII aircraft steering yoke, wrapped in twine. It's bit rough, but I think it fits the vibe pretty well. Back in the day, these could be had for a song. Today you need to take out a second mortgage to buy one... Cheers and Happy Easter! David

Looking good guys... I had a little T time myself yesterday, just messing around with some stuff on the bench, while watching some NASCAR racing on TV. I have also been changing up a few things on the old woody
Here's one I've been working on recently. Just a few more details left yet, but it's coming together nicely I think. This is the first model I've actually done spark plug wires and fuel lines and such on.
I had to try and clean up some of the distractions in this pic. If it bothers Shorty I can easily delete it.
@41 coupe, Did your recently posted pics get deleted? Got the email notification from the HAMB, but nothing here to see. Maybe Barney’s back on the job?
I've put off using an on line photo storage service for a long time. I need one now. Would any of you care to suggest a good one to use? Thanks, John
Built this model 7-8 years ago before Tommy starting adding lettering. Then he started adding the lettering and it's bugged me for a long time now. I did my own decals on my inkjet printer, and some things don't duplicate perfectly, but close enough for me.
