I actually was getting ready to one night, and everything about it, I love and just thought I'd rather put it to the side and do another one.

    This is the best 49 from that collection I got so it's going to be rebuilt,might become a 50 since I have a 50 grille. Engine is from a 57 T bird IMG_20230318_204453216.jpg IMG_20230318_204503896.jpg

I started an O/T '67 IMpala 4 door yesterday. First one in about 20 years. The quality of the bodies and parts sure has improved over the years!

Got the 49 Ford done, added a little detailing and repainted the interior and chassis and went on another direction on the rims and tires. IMG_20230324_200804560.jpg IMG_20230324_200840197.jpg

I started with an old 30 coupe body I had and about 3 other boxes of Model A parts. Dug up a frame, some front & rear end parts and started figuring out what to do with it all. First I knew I had to lower the top a little so I chopped the top just enough to make it look better but not a crazy "mail slot" chop. Then I had to figure out an engine but I didn't want to build a typical everyday seen hot rod with a Chevy or even any V8. So I looked online & found a very cool overhead Model A engine and thought that that's what I wanted. I scratch built the front timing gear cover, side cover, head, valve cover and magneto. Anyway, work is slow but I'll get there eventually, this is what I got so far.

The '36 and '48 are ready for paint, the '36 will be a repaint (too cold).

The other 2 were gifted by a good friend who built them as a kid.
