Was going to build this one but looked like it was going to be a pain so I gave up and will get that later version.

  11. I did a “naked” group build using no paint, only sharpies and a chrome pen. Polished up the plastic and it looks cool! Monogram 30 Model A woody. 2E451631-12BD-4005-B61F-7190A47851D1.jpeg 6B524C68-7B15-4980-9497-AB17091EB3A8.jpeg 905910AD-1632-464A-B107-62D13DB5123C.jpeg

Finished this Lincoln Futura in Dec. It's a fiddly kit. Chrome wheels, steering wheel and antenna are well done. Bumpers and side trim not so much. Parts Pack tires. Vintage Cal Custom silver lacquer base coat with PPG clear. The canopy is flawless. I had STS Decals make the "FUTURA" decal on the hood. Recommended! Notice Cosmo and Fifi's photo etched shades. All the parts arrived for the 64 Thunderbird and might have enough parts to build another Monogram 34 Ford IMG_20240111_191940821.jpg IMG_20240111_191931697.jpg IMG_20240111_200308084.jpg IMG_20240111_200325038.jpg

  16. Not sure if this will end up a finished model because it’s a hot mess right now. I’ll keep working on it and see what happens.

If that is for a Monogram I have some chopped tops that came on the ZZ Top and 90s versions, those kits were based on the 60s kit.

Picked up this 40 for parts since it had a damaged cab but found some later version parts to fix it. IMG_20240113_155826969.jpg IMG_20240113_155851064.jpg

  24. mine are metal and the fine plastic just falls off when you blow on it. The sanding sticks that are like Emory boards get clogged and sometimes I rinse them.
