Robbed the six from this 53 for one of my Monogram 39 Chevy projects,it was built so I just added some detailing and installed the Pontiac engine from the 34 Ford kit.

 

Taking a Monogram 39 Chevy coupe and getting rid of the late 70s street rod vibe.

Our model club is having a club build off. For this, each of us have to build a rebuilder/glue bomb, with a minimum of 2-3 modifications.

My entry will be a traditional style hot rod. I’m going to leave the flathead and plumb it. I want to figure out how to wire it with traditional looking cloth covered wires. Maybe a heavy gauge thread, and use a Sharpie to put lines on them?

I’m thinking about this being my first project to use MCW paints, and spraying it Cloud Mist Gray, with either body color or black wheels.
