Thanks! I sprayed from about 12-14" away until wet looking. It was a semigloss Ace hardware brand black aerosol can.

I'm getting back to 1:1 work this week since I've dropped off my son, but I have the Eliminator coupe almost ready for primer. The rest of the kit is very simple, so it'll be done by the end of the week if the paint turns out well! 20260803_213603.jpg

Looks great I did a similar thing with the Monogram 56 Chevrolet kit in 1979, transplanted a six from some other kit and gave it a basic look. Long given away !

Eliminator coupe is finished... box stock the kit looks like a haywagon so I glued the axles to the frame and ground the bulky exhaust down for clearance so it could have a proper stance like the real car. Now I guess I gotta build a 1/25 fuzzy guitar and b***... 20260815_141641.jpg 20260815_135329.jpg 20260815_133809.jpg 20260814_181225.jpg 20260814_184457.jpg 20260815_133454.jpg 20260815_211212.jpg

  16. Thanks. Actually...I posted my 1/32 belly tank build using a 1/32 P-38 drop tank.. (like the real racers did) on the Model Cars build Forum...and a reader from N. Carolina with 3D printing capability replied "Care to try 1/25th scale" ???...and I asked " Sure...what'ya got ?". Next thing I know a package from a guy named Jim Lewis shows up with a couple of different 3D printed belly tank body shells plus some printed frames and flathead engine parts...no charge. I took it upon myself to complete the build with numerous additions ftom my parts box. 20250605_091459~2.jpg

Excellent work in both scales. You nailed it with the 1/32 display too!
