Here's one I just finished up tonight.....chopped 49 Ford, a Jimmy Flintstone resin body over an AMT frame and interior. Tamiya Light Pearl Green, cleaned up the chrome added 57 T Bird headlight bezels, and slammed it to the ground

 

Hay its Sunday I'd like to see some fun stuff!

Thanks Mang, I havent built models for probably about 10 years now. Its hard to remember what I did. I do know I had bought an Edsel photo etch sheet and I remember spending a ton of time shortening the side trim so I could use the door decal.

 

rusa55, that shoebox came out just right. Thanks for building and posting it. I really like that roofline.

 

Here's one of my current works-in-progress. AMT '58 Impala "Street Stocker" w/#87 Buck Baker decals by Fred Cady.

 

Another one in the works; The Lindberg '61 Chevy Impala SS 409 Convertible finished in Dupont [HASHTAG]#4142L[/HASHTAG]; 1961 Chevy "Arbor Green" Acrylic Lacquer. Automotive "sandable primer" (for sealer), basecoat (color), and final clearcoat on.

 

Here's my attempt I did ten years ago, and never finished.
Its close to being done, but until the kids older, I don't mess about with much scale work.

 

I have not been here in a while...This thread has really come alive again! Good work everybody.

I finally got around to building a Revell 29 roadster. This is a fantastic kit!

Styrene gasket
Shrink tubing collector

 

Thanks ! I do have a lot, never stopped building {playing} with toys and models. Cant build them all in real scale, so small is still a lot of fun. I wish I had the patience that the rest of you guys have. but if anyone is interested I will post more. What makes it fun is how that my grandson loves building and racing them too. Here's a 32 delivery that he built and he's only seven years old . Not so much as for the details. But more just for the fun and play of it.
