A pretty kool diorama on display at Walt's Hobby Shop in Crest Hill, Illinois. I get a kick out of this because our nightly hang was at a Dog 'N Suds through the '60s in Lemont, Illinois.
Here's a late 40's style '29 Roadster that I finished about a month ago. This is heavily modified from Revell's fairly new '29 Roadster kit. Hosted on Fotki Hosted on Fotki Hosted on Fotki Hosted on Fotki Hosted on Fotki
Kit Bash, it was great to see you again (yesterday). You and your club-mates always put on a good display. That's what brings me back on here for a look around. I love your sense of style (Kustoms), as well as the skill set that enables you to execute your vision. (I didn't miss the Buick headlights on the '40 tub, BTW.) The other members also set a high standard. Thanks for taking the time to show your stuff.

Another bump for this week. Just came in the mail yesterday. A built up AMT '40 Ford I picked up on ebay for $9.99.
Sometimes I just get lucky. I was the only bidder on this one. Lots of times prices get absurdly too high for me as well.
For those of you who also played with RC cars back in the 80's when they first hit the streets, Tamiya has comissioned three, real steel, 1:1 cars made to look like their RC kits, the Jeep, the VW Baja Bug and the military buggy. And... I saw them doing demo runs on Goodwood Videos yesterday. Here is the link to the video feed. I don't have any I idea when they will appear again, but the announcer has mentioned them again so I expect to see them today, too (if not on a re-run). Lots of other cool cars from around the world, too, many American. Gary http://autoweek.com/article/classic...er&utm_content=body&utm_campaign=awdailydrive

Well I will start this Sunday off with a vision I had..... I found this one in some junk brought it home sat it on the desk and stared at it for a while eventually the fog in my head cleared and I tore the old Ford apart and started cutting and fitting and more cutting and come up with this so far......so do I go with it ...or do I ..... I have a V-12 Lincoln engine with Ardun heads and front mounted Super charger that I built and haven't found a home for yet...... I'll see what happens and post the results later....
