Well, yesterday was the book launch for the Vultures CC road trip book. It was a beautiful sunny day when my boy Eddie and I set off from home. He got to experience roadstering at its best....and worst. It poured rain on us 5 minutes from Rancho Deluxe. Turned out to be a great day with great people and great chilli dogs. Here are a few pics
That's a slick little A you have there and that young man has a killer grin. Any more photos of the run? That black shoebox coupe looks great sitting there in shiny black with a great stance.
Great pics, love your modified. I wanted to drive mine today, but the only time it wasn't raining I was on a run to the landfill (dump), just crossed my mind...do you guys in Australia have & make runs to the dump?
Yeah, that's Hoey's shoebox in original black paint. Note the close up of his grill. It has the original 9 cylinder in it too
It pissed down here as soon as I opened the garage door so I closed it and kept workin, good to see a few still made it down.
What is the green coupe with the Caddy engine? I've seen several pics of a coupe just like it from Japan and I have always wondered what it is. It has such a unique belt line and cowl.
Pete, You mean these things are meant to be finished and actually DRIVEN?? Man, I wish you had told me that a long time ago, I coulda been enjoying my rpu by now Your car looks great, cool day with your boy too! Good stuff Dan
Droplord, that's an aussie '29 Dodge with the Cad in it. Nice********* shots Striper, thanks. So what's the story with this road book?
Ummm....I think I may have mentioned it Dan Here's a link for the book. http://fuelmagazine.bigcartel.com/product/vultures-cruise-photo-book The Dodge is actually not an Aussie body. It's an import from the US.
A good time was had by all. Thanks to Ben for putting up with us for the day,Luke Ray (Fuel Magazine) for writing the book & Mr Diablo for winning the auction.
Nice bit of Ryan Ford's art. Those slicks would have been fun in the rain in the morning This 40 Chev was cool. I would just love to load it up with a dozen or so of my closest friends and cruise
Long time coming but Man it was worth it" well done JC " Carnt wait to see J Rods T Coupe with da Hemi"
Had a hard time keeping up with my big Bros inline 9, the spinner kept my 460 honest on the way down to Rancho Duluxe!!
I was going to go with my girls, but shmbo'd took the day off work so we went out for a late lunch. Family first on this occasion - damn - looked like a good do to have attended. Thanks for the pictures for us members of the great unWashed
Top day out. Loved J C's 40 Chev Convert Sedan. Looked like one of the 'lost' Valley Customs. Brilliant exercise in the subliminal. I don't even think some folks realise that he built it out of an exploded Sedan. Great Stuff.
