Hello Everyone, Probably going to get tired of me but i was wondering if anyone had information on a super bell axle. One of our great HAMB members came out to my house and told me my car had a super bell axle and showed me the logo on the front in the middle of it. Does anyone have info on these axles? I need to order king pins instead of 3/8 extension lol!!!
I bought Super Bell dropped tube axle back when I was building my '34 in the late 1980's. It seemed as though everyone with a dropped axle had a Super Bell, so that's what I went with. I still have the car and the axle has always worked without any issue. My doesn't have a logo on it but I have seen some with tags in the middle of the axle that read Super Bell.
As dirty Doug mention, what spindles does it have? Round back 37-41 uses a different length than 42-48 which are longer.
Then you simply buy a spindle kit for the 42-48 spindles. All Super Bell axles use Ford king pin sizes. SPark
Super Bell tube axles don't have a logo, but the cast I beam axles have a logo in the middle of the web.
