Clean my shop! I also look for side projects that help replenish the hot rod fund.

I was a high school teacher for the last couple of years, so I know all about having lots of time and no money.

Here's what I usually did when the $$ ran out:

    - Clean, de-rust, repair and rattle-can paint, small parts.

    - Push the car out of the garage and sweep, organize, hose down the floor

    - Go through/organize my ever-dwindling collection of boxes containing the parts that came off of my 54 when I tore it apart. (and perform item #1 on them)

Thankfully, I just landed my dream job, so the cash is flowing again. However, all that time prepping small parts is making the final stage of my build go very fast, and I'm gonna have an uber-detailed engine-bay and interior thanks to all my nitpicking over small parts.

When I have truly run out of cashola I go digging through all the parts I carefully pulled off the car during dis***embly and list them on eBay. People will by ANYTHING - even bolts and bushings.
