Saw that car at the 2015 GSTA show in St. Paul and thought it was about the coolest thing I had seen in a long time. Looks very familiar - would be nice to hear the story behind it and see some pics of the resto if you have some. Here are a few photos I took at that show:

Here are some more photos. The picture in the shed are other cars I restored along with the gremlin and challenger in the photo with the pacman.[IMG][IMG][IMG][IMG][IMG][IMG][IMG][IMG][IMG]

Your off topic cars are also really nice. Super sweet Gremlin, and is that a Mopar wagon in the back ground? You got a small museum going there. Nice-

I had no idea Dave Boertmans world-beating Challenger had been restored till I saw these photos. Man that car won a lot.

  16. The Super Cheetah is one of my all time favorite cars. Your restoration of it is stunning to say the least. Incredible work you do sir. Thanks for sharing the pics.:D:cool:

That challenger is one of the trickest cars I've ever seen. Hidden weight, moved wheel wells, moved engine you name it. The engine was so far back and the wheels so forward that you could take the oil filter off without getting oil on the Kframe and if you know mopars it is pretty amazing. Every rule was bent. An absolute killer and Dave is a great guy that new how to turn on the win light

When I was 15 yrs old I worked at a full service Fina Gas Station (I was the "driveway manager"! ha!) for an old hippy drag racer who owned the station. He had a Cheetah that he was working on. I always thought that car was so exotic looking. I have often wondered if he ever finished it,

AAA, great group of cars you've restored. The Cheetah is incredible. Could you possibly tell me what the gold paint color/code is that you used on the front wheels of the Cheetah? Thanks.

Rockfish, I used HOK pagan gold candy concentrate lightly mixed with clear. It looked great at first but only held up for about a year until the magnesium oxidized and popped some of it off

    That's quite a collection
I like your style, you show up here with a simple thread and get our attention with the UFO altered, then show off the beautiful Cheetah. But right in the middle of everything you sneak in a picture of a shed full of AWESOME. Holy cow! there are indeed some treasures in there.
Thank you for what you do. I'm very glad that there are folks like you restoring these pieces of history. Thanks for sharing
