So last night was movie night and the wife said that she thought our kids would love to watch the first SuperMan movie and so we did. Now it has been a long time since I saw the first one and to be honest it was not quite how I remembered but any way....we are less than 15 minutes in the movie and I couldn't believe my eyes. I had to back up the movie and watch it again....and again...and again. The wife said "what are you looking at" I said...."do you see the wheels on that truck"? Neither the wife or my two kids were as excited as I was....maybe I am the only one that will think it is cool but I just had to point it out.

Anybody else ever noticed this? I think the truck is a 38 Chevrolet....

I wonder where that truck ended up? Prolly in some movie prop warehouse...

sharp eyes you have. i'd never have noticed that....

i do nit-pick movies for having the wrong year cars in it, or at least i USED to, until it occured to me that they just don't give a*****.

and don't get me started on WAR movies.

i used to love seeing the Nashes in the TV series.... seemed like Nash was the only car sold in Metropolis!

I have been to Metropolis several times, and never seen a Nash there. There must have been a Nash dealer next to the studio back in the day.

I do the same thing when I see old cars in a movie. (Usually accompanied by a backhand slap from the wife).

    Here's the truck. '39 or '40 GMC.
