I'm rebuilding a Dodge 270" Super Red Ram, and need a new cam.Does anyone know who specializes in these Baby Hemi's? I'm running into a wall with most of the Chrysler Hemi experts.
    Thanks in advance.

Contact Hemi Haines in Daytona Beach, FL.
I met him a few years ago and he knows his hemis.
    Perhaps he can help you.

Also, Delta Cams in Tacoma, Wash. He has masters for the Dodge, Desoto, and Chrysler hemis.
Look them up on Google, surf their site; they have some 'seminars' that show complete ops.
    VERY reasonable, good feedback.

New, as in NEW, or new as in regrind? There are no new cores.
Plenty of us regrinders that can regrind yours, assuming it is good to start with. Yes, bad lobes can be welded up.

I'll suggest that you spend some time in the HemiTech pages.

You will need a core, as stated.
