Anyone had any dealings with Super Shops lately? Apparently they have regrouped and are now out of Kentucky. I was looking for an air cleaner for the Holley carb on the SBF going into my Ranch Wagon and I came across what I was looking for at Super Shops. The price was the same as all the other usual suspects for the exact same air cleaner but Super Shops had free shipping. I used to go to the original San Bernardino Racing store in San Berdoo in the late '60's early '70's before it started down the road to its demise as Super Shops. So I was a bit hesitant knowing the history of the brand but I pulled the pin anyway. It just showed up a day earlier than it was scheduled to. Exactly as indicated. No issues. Maybe things are different now or maybe my experience was just a freak accident. Just wondering.

From their website "Today Super Shops offers an expansive product line on many third party e-commerce sites such as Amazon, eBay, and Walmart.com along with a complete Retail Shopping Website. Staffed with performance enthusiasts and racers with decades of experience, we strive to provide the customer with the experience Super Shops was famous for. Helping customers select the correct performance parts for their application and suggesting any additional components needed to accompany their purchases. Compe***ive prices and expansive inventory are still the foundation of Super Shops along with cultivating positive relationships with customers and manufacturers themselves."

I have bought from them in the p***. Thinking they had a store in KC.
    Never any problems back then.

It looks like the group who bought the rights to the name in 2013 have managed to turn it back into a speed parts supplier.

I bought a few things from the one that was 20 miles from me in the early 80's but outside of custom wheels, intakes and valve covers they often didn't have the serious performance parts in stock.

I have started seeing the name again pretty frequently in the last few months when searching parts.
