I got a damaged Super T10 for a good price ($0). It was involved in an unfortunate incident several years ago at Bonneville. The extension housing is trashed. The original one ends with 903. What are my options for finding a replacement? Do I need a 903 or are there other choices? The trans will go in a small block powered ‘49 F1 that is still in the early stages, so there’s no real time pressure and I can adapt to any small differences. Thanks in advance.
this shows one backordered. You probably want to bookmark this for the other parts. https://www.thegearbox.org/SuperT10.html This mentions a couple, with the changes https://www.corvetteforum.com/forums/c1-and-c2-corvettes/4130251-super-t10-tailshaft-housings.html Judging from the pics of the offerings on the bay, there were a lot of different apps and lengths. Since the length is going to be the output shaft too, you will need to match that or do more work. More info and parts https://www.midwesttrans.com/product-information/t10-manual-transmissions
