Supercharger help needed.

    I have a 3-71, but it doesn't fit the motor as well.

    However, I'm told the same thing about it- can't be ran dry, due to rpm's.

    ???

    Not for nothing but the old Judson's ran with the Marvel Mystery oil set up,,perhasps something like that is all you need ?

    Marvel Mystery oil won't do a lot for the anti knock rating of the race gas. Looks like there is a simple, clean fix for the EFI to make it work. Why fight it?

    Here's my two cents. The smaller street blowers are set up with very tight clearances along with Teflon stripped rotors and are spun at much higher speeds which, if run dry, can build a lot of heat and eventually seize. I suppose you could loosen the clearances up and get away with it but you will lose some boost. Also, spinning the blower faster will heat the air charge a bit more.

    i drove ready-mix trucks, and so far as i know their blowers ran dry. we even had a few with turbochargers mounted on top of the blowers, and guys that drove them said they ran real good.
