It's gonna be a 2 inch Gilmer Drive belt with 1V belt for the generator.

Yes if you go to the dyers website they make all of it.

Got an email back l and they said they're gonna send me some pictures on Friday, so I'm guessing they've already started making stuff. Exciting!

We've got some pictures back and some information. On my setup I use the pulley closest to the engine and he says it will not work with the balancer he was going to use. Says that the belt will be too far forward. But I think I can use the outside pulley and I can use the 2 groove water pump pulley. Then I have and figure out the generator later. Seems he's using a later Pontiac balancer. 3689.jpg 3686.jpg 3688.jpg 3687.jpg

He has made the pulley/spacer and I've got to take some measurements once I get it 3992.jpg

I took all the measurements he asked for and took pictures and just received all the parts today. I definitely stated that I wanted a 2 inch drive. And ended up getting a 3 inch. Went to mock it up just to make sure it all fits and it does not. The pulleys do not lineup, and the belt barely fits onto the top and bottom pulley. This*****s. I sent an email with pictures as they don't answer the phone. And they only work a couple days a week. 20251031_112443.jpg 20251031_112450.jpg 20251031_112458.jpg 20251031_112511.jpg 20251031_112518.jpg

They sell pulley spacers in lots of increments. Looks like you need an inch on the top pulley. The idler, you can space out with a few flat washers. Once you have the alignment right, you can order the right belt. You are gonna be fine as long as you have the room for the 3 inch belt. If not, have a buddy with a lathe machine the pulleys to two inch.

I shouldn't have to do any of that, As I ordered a 2 inch drive kit and gave all the proper measurements. I'm waiting to hear back from dyers.

    @wheeltramp brian ,
Do not know your Conversation with Dyers , the 3 inch pulley No big deal to cut down , I understand you specified
2 inch ,Under stand / can relate to your frustration Especially when you pay someone to do the job or make!!
No problem to cut better with the Lathe but can be done with other tools Hack saw / band ect.
Even with measurements it's kind of hard to get exactly what you need without having the project sitting in front of you, can get close ,,
I ran /use many blower combinations
    4, 6 8 . Centrifugal and roots.
    Spacer/ shims expected.
Idler , top & bottom pulley
    & shim / spacer for V 's
    Crank , water & Alt .

One question I do have did they supply the blower belt ? " If So"
That someting That should of "NOT" been " Wrong length"
Unless Dyer was thinking you where going to run the toddler pushing against the belt,
In future myself if I'm going to run a 2 inch wide set up I order a 4 inch belt cut it so I have a spare its like $20 more for the 4 inch belt , then One 2 inch belt .

There Not to many Bolt On's that end
Up bolt On's with out modification and adjustments

I understand that custom stuff takes adjustments and usually doesn't fit LOL. And yesterday belt was supplied.

He told me to send it all back, and he will correct it. I've got to go to the shop today anyways, so I will pack it back up and ship it out.

Be sure to send lots of pictures from every angle so he can clearly see the problems.

if nothing else you have/had something to measure
you'll get it done, just keep at it.
ran into one or two of those hiccups with every blower I set up.

  17. There is no better look than a blower and scoop!
