Hey guys I've been tossin this around for a few days. I think I wanna put supremes on my 62 Belair wagon. I hate the wheels that are on it. I did some searching on here and can't find what I'm looking for. I have to run 15inch wheels since there is disc brakes on all 4 corners. What I'm interested in is back space and tire size and brand of wheel? I really want that west coast low rider look so....
    Thanks in advance
    Chris

15" Supremes on my '62 Merc Wagon project. This pic is a month or two old. The gl*** and door handles are in it now. The Supremes are Allied Wheel Components, 15x7 3.5" Backspace. Stock Mercury Front and Rear Axles. 4 wheel disc brake conversion and bagged.

Yep, your right, those wheels and tires need to go. I put 235/75R15 Hankook Radials on the Merc. They are a tall tire at 29" OD, but it fits the size of the car well. Plus they are a very affordable tire and come with the requisite pinner white wall.

I had 14 X 6 supremes on my 1949 Chevrolet sedan with disc brakes. 11" rotors I think... whatever came on 70's Camaro's.

15's w the standard 3 to 3.5" backspace should fit and clear the discs fine. US wheel I think is who makes the good ones, there's a thread on the Los Boulevardos forumn everything you'll ever need to know about "Supremes".

I've been considering the same thing for my wagon but the tires I have are brand new so I just can't justify to myself making the change. I kind of like my steelies but think the pinner whites would be awesome. I'll be interested to see what you come up with. Beautiful car by the way.
