Lets kick an anthill. You can have only one of the vintage Chevy (or GMC bretherin).
Which do you choose based on looks alone?

I voted for the 47-55 Advanced design. I have the parts to build one. I bought a 56 to rebuild and gave it to my son......so I could have had either choice. I also really like the 37 Chevy .

The AD trucks are too stodgy, the 60s trucks are too boxy. The Task Force trucks are goldilocks.

I like my '62 C10; it has a good chassis and is comfortable to drive over long distances.

Yeah, but you really need a crew-cab, so the wife has somewhere to sit while the dog is riding up front. Of course, there's always the bed of the truck.;)

  9. Smooth, sexy curves and fat fenders have always lit the furnace in my loins. When I was a kid in the early 1950s, there was a home-delivery bread company called Peter Wheat Bread Co. that would crawl through the neighborhood in their AD panel trucks. Every time I spotted one of 'em, it put me in a thrall until it was out of sight.
Seventy years later, I figured I'd waited long enough, so I bought the one that's in my garage now.

This is a hard decision to make; I like all three categories, but if I must pick only one category, I pick the TF 55-59.

This AD’s bed is too hard.
This TF’s bed is too soft.
This C10’s bed is just right.

I really like the TF’s body style it lends itself to all sorts of builds like hot rods, customs, and God forbid more modern style of build. To me it’s the prettiest truck GM built
