The chop and paint--Over the top--absolutely hit the nail on the head with this one. Great job Bleed and cant wait until you get the duce coup rolling down the road. Here are some additional pictures of the come and take it flag for your collection that I took in Gonzales a few weeks ago.
Really nice. 51's aren't my favorite year of shoebox normally but somehow your's looks just right! I really like how you painted the work to match the rest of the car. I totally get it even if others say they don't. Thanks for posting it up. Can't wait to see the 32 coming along.
Pretty funny how opinions differ. I think '50s are the best of the three, so on my '51 Vic I changed every one of the items you mentioned either to '50 or custom components:
Hey thanks everyone! For all those who have asked.... yes it is sold and it is on its way to CA..... The owner Ron is on the HAMB and I am sure he will chime in when he gets home! As far as my coupe.... yeah its going to be pretty crazy.... He's the shoebox on its way home! Here's my coupe with the Dave H coupe we built..... pretty neat to see them together! they look like bro's.... In fact if they were roadsters.... they'd be BROadsters haha not for long though.....
If I had never seen '49-'51 Ford and seen yours, I would be convinced it came from the factory with that roofline, very unique, nice work.
Great chop! In some of the pictures, the B pillars looked canted but in others they look straight. What did you do with them?
I'm a shoebox guy (I have a '51 club coupe), and always thought the 2 Dr sedans looked awkward with the "fake" rear quarter window. I see that you have solved that problem completely. The car looks excellent.
That shoebox looks great! Excellent fabrication work! To your latest track... I'll be honest, I'm not usually into the heavy rock stuff but that last track was good stuff!! HC.
