I love the barn (garage) finds! I dig the upholstered wheel wells too... Super 60's.

Did ANYBODY else notice that its NOT a roadster? Thats a Sport Coupe or Coupe with the top cut off... Still very cool though!

    Nice score!

  8. Neat story Grumpy!! Thanks for posting it. Like its been said "half the fun of finding old tin is in the chase". Getting a clue here and there, searching for it and then finding the gold" is part of the high you get from this whole old car thing. You young guys that don't think you'll ever find something, just keep your ears open, eyes peeled and noses to the wind like Bruce and Grumpy did. There's a lot of us old guys out here that are in our 50's and 60's that won't be able to hang onto them forever..............!!

You wouldn't think green flake paint, and red&white interior would look good, but with the red motor and other red here and there, it just looks awesome.

And he won alot of awards with this car is the Ohio/PA area. It was never a national car, he was just a young guy who built a cool car.

Looks like "Angel Hair" that you see under the cars in 1960's shows..

    Thanks guys.
Bruce and his wife have been reading and following this post.

He's been registered here for several years, but does not post. Says he has a hard enough time just keeping up reading:rolleyes::D

So he see's it all, and says thank you. He appreciates all the comments.

I'm trying to get these pics from a disc I have onto the computer, then I'll have many more from that day. And maybe more old original pics too.
