  1. If you live long enough you see some things fall into place once in a while. I believe in the 50 percent theory of life. Half the time things are worse than normal; the other half the time they are better than normal. Live long enough then you have a pretty good idea what normal is, and you savor it. If things are going bad, you know that it's just leveling out those good times you had and soon you will reap the odds swinging back in your favor.

Been running pretty well for about a year + now. Tiny prob.s to deal with, small oil leak at rear crank seal> the new gaskets set, I used, was missing a new rear seal { Maybe why it was on sale, but they didn't say,an It layed around for more then a year, before I got around to open=no way they'ed back up missing seal} Plus now that I was findely working on Y-block,made the mistake of thinking foolishly " I'll just used the old seal again !" =So now I have a small leak, but I'm just going to let it leak, tell I have some other prob that makes me pull the pan again.
3 weeks ago,the brake lights stopped working,so had get a new arm switch { 1950s Chevy Pick-up truck lever arm brake light switch/ had give up } my shock,LOL<after all this time > Turned out, lucky ,Avdvince Auto Parts had it in there catalog @ $26,so ordered it,an got it in only a few days. All working again!:D

Some time this coming month, the plan is pull off the rad n shell n shroud ,so I can change the fan blade. I picked up a new fan blade with lots bigger wider blades { 2x as wide as now, there both 6 blade}=this should move more air. In stop an go traffic, its getting over 220*=I don't like that. Even though it goes right back down too about 200* asc soon as I'm moving again. I'd like to have it cooler.
    So just a update

I grew up in Coconut Grove, ( 1942 on ) The Grove was a small town, and as Miami grew ,it became part of Miami. Yes, did n still do,,I built my 28A Roadster hotrod through most of all 3 years of Shenandoah Jr High, { now called a Middle school }so I'd have a car for high school { Miami Sr High School }.

  5. I know Miami was huge even then. But did you ever come across a guy known as "jean-o" O'Connor? Would have been a lil stand out with his Bronx accent. His mom ran an Irish pub. He had a 56 t bird and 32 Ford five window with a DeSoto hemi
